Alpha Gamma Educational Foundation

The Alpha Gamma Educational Foundation was chartered March 1982 and the original Directors/Founders were: Arthur Bissett, Sam Love, John D. Hooker, Gene Badger, Edward Smoak, and Kay Richardson. Numerous Brothers have placed endowments in the Foundation to support the advancement of the education of the collegiate Brothers. Since 1982 scholarships have been provided to hundreds of Brothers and funds have been provided to make sure the Chapter Study Room is well equipped with latest computers and other essentials for effective studying. In addition, the Foundation provides support for the Chapter to attend the annual AGR Convention and AGR Leadership Schools.

It is more important than ever for us to continue to increase our level of support for the Foundation. The costs for our Brothers to attend college are increasing and we need to step up our giving to offset these costs through increased scholarship amounts.
