The Alpha Gamma Chapter helps to fight against cancer by producing its annual BUCK-OFF philanthropy. BUCK-OFF is a mechanical bull-riding competition, where sororities and clubs from the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences compete in teams.
- The beneficiary of this event is the Winn-Dixie Hope Lodge of Gainesville. The Hope Lodge is a facility where people who are actively receiving cancer treatments at Shands Hospital can stay at no charge.
- Since 2015, the Brothers have raised donations totalling over $100,000. The Alpha Gamma Chapter is very proud of this achievement and appreciates every sponsor that made it a success.
- This year Buck-Off was held as a virtual event and still raised over $16,000.
